Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) January 01, 2017 - As the author of "The Single Ladies' Commandments: Songs for Love, Healing, Freedom, and Purpose", Jasmine Jones purposefully chose to launch her new book in the Motor City. As a Detroit native, Jones desired to give back to her hometown through partnering with local women entrepreneurs.

Her book release party themed Successful Women Rock Fancy Pumps, but Not Husbands scheduled on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 4pm-7pm will be hosted by women-owned, Pump Bar Shoetique, in local suburb, Oak Park, Michigan. The book release party is free and open to the public and features two additional women-owned businesses. Baked by Rocky will host the cupcake hour and Twisted Bre'eze will offer delicious frozen beverages.

When Jones is not pursuing her dreams as an author, she is maintaining her full-time job as an engineer in Washington, DC.
