The Austin dance studio provides a variety of dance camps to meet virtually any need for younger age groups.
The Austin dance studio has recently announced its 2012 summer dance camp schedule. Of note are multiple exciting programs, each a different theme of dance camp:
The first is a 5-hours themed day camp entitled Dance and Creative Arts. This is a weekly program designed for children aged 4.5 through 11. It mimics popular shows such as Glee, Teen Pop Divas, Shake It Up and Everything Justin. The program consists of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acting, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Gymnastics. It also includes Arts and Crafts.
The second camp is also a weekly camp. It lasts 3 hours and is designed for preschool children age 3-5. It is also entitled Dance and Creative Arts and mimics shows such as Princess Party, Dancin' Disney, Fancy Nancy and Fairy Wonderland.
The third offering for the 2012 summer dance camp offering is a weekly program that last 5 hours and is considered more intensive than the previous two programs mentioned above. It is designed for ages 7-16 and is suggested for those who have at least some prior dance training who are interested in improving their skill levels and techniques. There are Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced levels available in this summer dance camp program.
For the Dance and Creative Arts summer dance camps, classes are divided by age and ability into beginner and experienced dancers. For these camps, no previous dance experience is needed! The Austin dance studio is great for allowing your child to explore his or her artistic and creative side. This is done as they participate in a variety of activities from dancing, dressing up in costume, painting, acting and musical theater.
