Austin Cycle Camp Adds Cycling Aficionado Daniel J. Curtin Jr. to its Team
Austin Cycle Camp, Central Texas' only fitness camp dedicated solely to helping cyclists of all abilities get fitter, faster, stronger and stay safer on the roads, strengthens its team with Daniel J Curtin, Jr. who will serve as Director of Operations.
- Austin-San Marcos, TX (1888PressRelease) June 01, 2011 - Austin Cycle Camp, dedicated to providing clients with the best on-the-bike coaching, bicycle boot-camp experiences, clinics, and destination cycling in and around Central Texas, has named Daniel J Curtin, Jr., as its new Director of Operations.
Daniel who had been with Austin's Bicycle Sport Shop will oversee Austin Cycle Camp's destination cycling camps as well as other day-to-day operations.
"The expansion of our successful destination cycling camps, to places like Colorado, is a real goal for us, and Daniel is uniquely positioned to help us do that," noted Trey Steele, one of Austin Cycle Camp's co-founders. "Daniel's retail cycling industry experience, as well as his diverse work history give us someone passionate about cycling and understanding of customer service," added Dave Apple, the group's other co-founder.
"Austin Cycle Camp speaks to a large segment of the cycling public-folks that have gotten bikes, gotten interested in expanding their cycling knowledge and prowess, and are looking for a supportive group dedicated to helping them through that process. I couldn't be more excited to be joining these guys and working with them," noted Daniel.
Before joining Austin Cycle Camp, Daniel held a number of positions at Austin's Bicycle Sport Shop including assistant sales manager and promotions coordinator.
Prior to Bicycle Sport Shop, he was an associate attorney in New York City with Finkelstein Newman LLP (now Newman Ferrara LLP) a Manhattan based real estate firm, and served as an adjunct law professor at New York Law School.
Daniel holds a BA in Art History as well as Studio Art (sculpture) from Knox College, a JD from New York Law School, and holds retired/inactive law licenses in both New York and Texas.
