Augmented Pixels Releases ShowInRoom Application Enabling Virtual Furniture Shopping
Augmented Pixels announces a mobile solution for the furniture retail called ShowInRoom, enabling to virtually showcase furniture at any place using Augmented Reality.

ShowInRoom provides furniture retailers, distributors and manufacturers with an Augmented Reality platform that facilitates the purchase of home or office furniture by potential customers.
Furniture shopping is time consuming, and placing an order doesn't guarantee that the customer will be fully satisfied with the chosen model. Most of the retailers claim significant expenses for order returns. ShowInRoom enables customers to virtually preview the furniture in the interior in highly realistic 3D format, thus eliminates doubts about color, size and a style match.
ShowInRoom combines the advantages of e-commerce and in-store shopping. The app provides the catalog with unlimited listing of the furniture collections, ability to view the selected models in a real room, social interaction and order placement.
The furniture catalog in ShowInRoom app is organized by brands and categories, being easy to use for not tech savvy users. Each furniture model is available to virtually place it in the room to see how it matches the interior and how to locate it in there. With the app it's possible to move the furniture, walk around it, change the color to make a smart choice before the actual purchase. Customers can take pictures of their experiments with different models and share them on social networks to get feedbacks and "likes" from friends.

Displaying the furniture in ShowInRoom catalog gives more freedom to the retailers, enabling them to present new collections, out of stock models or other items that are not available in the particular store at the moment. ShowInRoom product inventory is stored in cloud, which allows quickly and easily adding new items without having to update the application.
