Attorney Mario T. Milano Joins IP Law Firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel
With a background in mechanical engineering, Milano focuses his practice on patents, including PCT applications.
- (1888PressRelease) January 13, 2016 - Intellectual property law firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP announced today it has hired patent and trademark attorney Mario T. Milano to join the firm's Wilmington, Delaware office as an associate.
Milano will concentrate his practice on patents, trademarks, and trade secret law with a particular focus on patents in mechanical areas and in the medical device and automotive industries.

Panitch Schwarze handles all facets of intellectual property law, from patent prosecution, litigation and licensing to trademark disputes, copyright infringement and domain name and Internet issues. The firm has nearly 30 attorneys, patent agents, and scientific advisors with experience in the sciences, technologies, and branding for industries and products ranging from biotech, semi-conductors and computer software to household products and toys.
Milano comes to Panitch Schwarze from IP law firm Lerner, David, Littenberg, Krumholz, & Mentlik, LLP in Westfield, N.J., where he served as a patent agent and an associate. During his time there, Milano was part of the litigation team which invalidated client competitors' patents during inter partes reviews (IPR) conducted by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He successfully prosecuted patents for clients ranging from large companies to solo inventors and worked with foreign associates to oversee prosecution of worldwide Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) patent applications.
A member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Milano also volunteers at the Reeves Reed Arboretum in Summit, N.J. and performs pro bono work for Central Jersey Legal Services.
Milano earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, NJ in 2013 and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Rowan University with honors in 2010. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and resides in Westville, N.J. He has passed the New York Bar and is currently fulfilling pro bono requirements for admission to practice.
