Attorney Marc Howard Attends State Bar Board of Governors Meeting at Lake Oconee

- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) April 26, 2012 - Trial Lawyer Marc Howard, co-founder of Atlanta's Pope & Howard P.C. Law Firm, recently attended the State Bar Board of Governors meeting at Lake Oconee as a representative of the Atlanta Circuit.
The Board of Governors sets policy for the State Bar, considers changes to ethical rules for attorneys throughout the state, and reviews legislative policies. At the meetings, Board members also hear a report from the Supreme Court on the state of the judiciary.

Howard has served as a member of the State Bar Board of Governors since 2010. Of the approximately 43,000 lawyers in Georgia, only 150 serve on the Board of Governors.
Howard, a 2012 Georgia Super Lawyer who was also named a "Legal Elite" lawyer in Georgia Trend Magazine, received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia's School of Law in 1993.
