Attorney Halley J. Peters Joins Miami Shores-based Harke Clasby & Bushman LLP
Halley J. Peters joins the AV-Rated litigation boutique of Harke Clasby & Bushman LLP as a new associate and will concentrate her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and consumer class action law.

Halley will be joining the boutique litigation firm as an associate and will concentrate her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and consumer class action law.

Prior to joining Harke Clasby & Bushman LLP, Halley worked for the Supreme Court of Florida, Office of Justice Perry, where she was a Florida Supreme Court Distinguished Intern. She also helped to deliver quality legal services and tutoring to at-risk pregnant youth via the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice's W.I.N.G.S. for Life.
Halley received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Women's Studies from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. While completing her undergraduate studies, Halley earned the honor, Michigan in Washington Distinguished Intern and maintained her public interest focus by serving as an intern at the United Nations and teaching English to children at the Learning Education Center in Shanghai, China.
Halley received her law degree from University of Miami School of Law in May 2011, where she graduated magna cum laude. In addition to Halley's scholastic achievements in law school, she served as the Legal Research and Writing Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review, held a position as Research Assistant at Problem-Solving Courts for Professor Bruce Winick, and was a member of the Student Chapter of the Dade County Bar Association. She earned a number of honors while in law school which include: Hoeveler Fellow, Honor Society of Bar and Gavel, Dean's Lists, Book Award--Civil Procedure I, Dean's Certificate of Achievement--Emotional Intelligence, and Certified Library Research Scholar.
