Attorney Dorothy Burch Recognized for Extraordinary Service and Re-elected to the Board of Directors for the NC Horse Council
Ragsdale Liggett attorney and partner, Dottie Burch has received the Star Volunteer award from the North Carolina Horse Council. She has also been named to the Board of Directors for a second term.

Ms. Burch also received the Star Volunteer award at the annual membership meeting where one Board member is recognized for extraordinary service to the NCHC.

About the North Carolina Horse Council:
The North Carolina Horse Council (NCHC) was formed in 1972 as a Non-Profit 501 (c) (5) Corporation by a group of concerned horse owners. Today the Council exists to represent and further the common interests of the entire equine industry in all 100 counties of North Carolina. Membership is comprised of volunteer individuals and groups from all breeds and types of horse activities including amateurs, professionals, hobbyists, commercial producers, riding clubs and large corporations.
The NCHC maintains effective government relations and works closely with the NC Department of Agriculture, county extension agents and higher education institutions throughout the state including NC State University and NC A&T University.
