Until now, auto shows, cruises, tailgating and other outdoor events have been the main vehicles through which classic car enthusiasts have been able to enjoy their cars as a group. The Woodward Warehouse has been uniquely designed to foster and enhance its members' enjoyment of their classic cars and the company of fellow collectors and enthusiasts.

Located at 4260 Edgeland, Royal Oak, 48073, Joe Polito, manager and founding member, acquired the former multi-use facility and transformed it into what can best be described as "a yacht club for cars." Polito notes that the facility provides numerous offerings beyond just traditional networking, ranging from various car themed events, presentations and speakers, to coffee and food gatherings.

The Woodwood Warehouse offers two basic levels of membership: $250 a month for year-round storage of a car, and a social membership for $150 a month. Every member has 24/7 access to the facility which features a meeting room, lockers, a kitchen, large-screen televisions, a cigar room, a lounge, free Wi-Fi, and a recreation room with a pool table, board games, and two vintage pin ball machines.

Members can utilize the car detailing area and hoist for light maintenance, as well as a 12-person conference room on a first-come, first-serve basis, free for a prescribed number of hours. The facility also is available to members and non-members for special events.

For an additional cost, members can store car parts or utilize the club's concierge and valet services. Members also enjoy discounts from preferred auto parts, suppliers and service vendors.
