ATMI launches AQUA XL float level switch for water treatment
ATMI has launched the AQUA XL, an innovative float level switch with internal ballast for the water-treatment sector, which is perfectly adapted to the requirements of pumping stations treating either clean or residual water. ATMI is looking for distributors in Northern Europe, particularly in Great Britain and Finland.

ATMI has just launched AQUA XL, a new float level switch, which has been specifically designed for the water industry.
The main advantage of the AQUA XL is its internal ballast, which allows it to pass through the thick grease layers that tend to form in wastewater pumping stations. As a result, the AQUA XL is the ideal solution for all types of pumping installations, and it is competitively priced.
The AQUA XL has several functions: it can be used for the regulation of pumps through an electrical control panel, and it can also be used as an alarm system, by signalling the high or low level of the liquid. The AQUA XL is extremely robust, does not require maintenance, and is suitable for any type of water - either clean water or residual water, as found in pumping stations or sewers. The AQUA XL completes the other ranges developed by ATMI, including the SOBA and ATS 165 float level switches, which are ballasted on the cables.
The AQUA XL offers several advantages. It is easy to install and penetrates liquids, where thick grease layers can form on the surface, thanks to its weight of 775 grams. AQUA XL is suited to temperatures of up to 70˚C and to pressures that can reach up to 2 bars, as it is equipped with a high-quality PVC cable. It functions in densities ranging from 0.95g/cm3 to 1.10g/cm3. Besides, its IP68 protection rating ensures water-tightness, so that the device will operate in prolonged immersion.
The AQUA XL is available with cables of 6, 10, 15, 20 and 30 metres. It complies with regulations currently in force across the water sector.
