Atlanta University Center Consortium’s Morehouse College Receives $118,950 Grant Award from Campus Consortium
Grant Provides Morehouse Students with Mobile App for Campus Safety and Engagement.
- (1888PressRelease) July 03, 2020 - Chicago - Campus Consortium, a global non-profit education association, announced today that it has awarded $118,950 in Technology Grants to Morehouse College for a Campus Safety & Student Engagement Mobile App. The Grants were designed in collaboration with and supported by Unifyed™.
“ We strive to provide our students with a personalized user experience and increase engagement,” said Maurice Washington, Senior Student Affairs Officer and Dean of the College, Morehouse College. “The Campus Safety and Student Engagement Grant offers us the opportunity to provide our students with a personalized user experience and increased engagement. The grant supports our original goal of having an easy flow of all the information across campus, provides a secure & safe environment for our students and offers our students an interface that coordinates with our systems and will help drive engagement and promote student success.”
“We recognize that our schools need help adapting to a new way of doing business,” said Anjli Jain, Founder and Chairman of the Campus Consortium. “Our cybersecurity grant is designed to help schools move mission critical, premise-dependent services quickly and securely to a cloud-based environment. For example, these institutions can now onboard new users virtually and securely in the cloud. The grants awarded also give students, faculty and staff one-stop access to all campus services with enhanced security features like multi-factor authentication so that their data can be protected from wherever they are studying or working.”
