ASTM D6866 Lab Joins Green Polymer Chemistry 2012 as Exhibitor
Biobased content testing laboratory Beta Analytic invites participants of the Green Polymer Chemistry 2012 conference to visit its table top exhibit.
- (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2012 - Miami - Biobased content testing laboratory Beta Analytic invites participants of the Green Polymer Chemistry 2012 conference to visit its table top exhibit. The company's Global Operations Manager, Ms. Florencia Goren, will welcome any inquiries regarding the lab's ASTM D6866 services or biobased content testing in general. The three-day event held at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany, ends on March 22, 2012. Green Polymer Chemistry 2012 is an international conference focusing on the market potential for the production of conventional polymers from sustainable sources.
"Through this conference, we are able to provide green polymer manufacturers and distributors the latest updates on biobased content testing in Europe. Aside from ASTM D6866 testing, they can also use the reference test and calculation methods specified under CEN/TS 16137 to determine the biobased carbon content of plastics and other polymers that contain organic carbon. CEN/TS 16137 is based on the Carbon-14 methods described in EN 15440 and ASTM D6866," Ms. Goren says.
Green Polymer Chemistry 2012 aims to provide a forum for environment and sustainability managers, business development professionals, chemical engineers, plastics manufacturers, researchers, and suppliers to debate the latest developments in producing conventional polymers from sustainable sources such as plants, waste, and CO2. The program includes sustainability papers from Unilever and Ford Motor Company as well as presentations by BASF, Süd-Chemie, Braskem, Chemtex Italia, DSM, and Merquinsa. There will also be market papers tackling the potential sources of monomers and polymers including an economic review of the availability and competition for bio-products.
This is the first international conference on green chemistry organized by Applied Market Information Ltd.
