- Colorado Springs, CO (1888PressRelease) February 05, 2013 - Sheryl mentioned that the seniors of Assured Assisted Living Parker homes had a completely different experience with the exciting twenty-third Annual Colorado RV Adventure Travel Show organized by Progressive Insurance on January 10, 2013. The event was held at Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th Street, Denver, CO 80202. The show is considered the largest RV travel show related to the Rockies providing information on various latest 2013 RVs such as Class A motorhomes, easy-to-pull and lightweight tent trailers, truck campers, travel trailers, and fifth wheels, along with various RV accessories and camper accessories that the elders might never use. Still, it brought back sweet memories of the days in which they drove similar RVs and hit the road to cover the Rockies of Colorado in their younger years. The seniors reminisced fondly about their earlier experiences of their individual RV adventures with each other. The outing has been a psychologically motivating and energizing experience for the residents of Assured Assisted Living Parker home residents.
The Wildlife Experience organized Dream Factory Skiing Adventure Film on January 11, 2013. The event was at the Wildlife Experience, 10035 S. Peoria Street, Parker, CO, between 6-00 pm and 9-00 pm. The film highlighted the various skiing adventures of Teton Gravity Research (TGR), who have been visiting Alaska for the last 16 years. The explorers of TGR skied through the awe-inspiring expanse of Alaska, the ideal dream ground for skiing. They not only skied but rode helicopters to land on untouched mountain peaks and skied down pristine ice powder. Many elders remembered the earlier times when they skied with great passion and vigor.
The other event that the seniors of Assured Assisted Living Parker homes attended was the National Western Stock Show on January 17. The show has been organized at National Western Complex for 16 days between January 12 and January 27, 2013to commemorate the celebration of its 107th year. The show is one of the premier stock show, horse show and rodeo show for entire Colorado and even the neighboring western states.
