- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) April 05, 2011 - Assistance League of Raleigh, a local chapter of the national nonprofit Assistance League, works within the Raleigh community to improve the quality of life for at-risk children facing financial hardship. Joining them in their efforts to better the local community is CT Weekends for Women, a boutique women's apparel shop located in Cameron Village.
CT Weekends has named Assistance League of Raleigh the charity of choice for their upcoming fashion show luncheon, which will be held at Solas Restaurant, Lounge, and Rooftop on South Glenwood. As the charity of choice, Assistance League of Raleigh will receive a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales.
"We're so grateful to have supporters like CT Weekends, who are dedicated to improving the local community," said Assistance League of Raleigh President Brenda Griffin. "When local businesses reach out to provide us with the means to improve our initiatives, it makes what we do that much more rewarding. The fashion show will be an easy way for members of the community to come out, have some fun, and show they support their city and its residents."
The fashion show luncheon will be held on April 7th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tickets to the event are priced at $25 per person. Ticket purchases will include a catered lunch, admission to the show, and a gift card to CT Weekends. For more information about the fashion show, call (919) 787-9073.
