Assassination City Roller Derby Announces Move To The Fair Park Coliseum

Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) March 03, 2011 - In the wake of its 2010 sell-out season, Assassination City Roller Derby is pleased to announce its move to the Fair Park Coliseum for its 2011 home season. The league will unveil its new home at the March 26 season opener with a double header featuring the Deadly Kennedys facing off against Viva La Revolucion! and a grudge match between the 2010 undefeated Bombshell Brigade and the 2010 champion Lone Star Assassins.

The move to Fair Park brings capacity for over 5,000 fans as well as convenient parking and easy access to the DART Green Line. At the Coliseum, the league is offering VIP seating on the floor for an up-close and personal derby experience as well as general admission bleacher seating and full-service concessions. "We are excited about the move to Fair Park," says general manager, Massey Graves. "The new venue will allow more fans to experience Assassination City Roller Derby and moves us closer to the heart of Dallas, our fan base and the businesses that we love and support. We are truly excited to be the only women's flat-track roller derby league in Dallas."

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $18 for floor/VIP seating or $15 for stadium seating online at www.acderby.com or at Pluckers on Greenville and Lovers, The Bone in Deep Ellum and Dad's Broadway Skateland in Mesquite. Tickets can also be purchased at the Fair Park Box Office after 3:00 p.m. on the day of the bout for $20 for floor/VIP seating or $17 for stadium seating.
The Fair Park Coliseum is located at 1438 Coliseum Drive, Dallas, TX 75210. On bout days, doors open at 5:15 p.m. and bouts begin at 6:00 p.m.
