- (1888PressRelease) September 30, 2011 - Montreal, Canada - Matrox is pleased to announce that its Xenia Pro triple-output display controller boards for medical imaging are certified by Aspyra on it latest AccessNet™ version 6.7.0 picture archiving communications system (PACS) solution. The Xenia Pro PCIe x16 single-slot board features one gigabyte of on-board RAM, providing AccessNet customers with a cost-effective, multi-modality PACS workstation that can reliably manage low to high-resolution images. This high-performance PACS solution allows instant response when scrolling through large CT and MR studies, as well as real-time window and level operations when viewing high-resolution images.
AccessNET version 6.7.0 is a modular-designed PACS solution that ranges from imaging modality viewing stations to multi-facility, enterprise-wide implementations complete with load balancing, redundancy, and remote backup archives. The latest version includes include Mammography Hanging Profiles improvements to support Partial Views, Quadrant Zoom, improved CAD results display, integration with Windows Authentication (LDAP), simplified Order Entry, and entry of Radiation Dose information, and tight integration with Radar Critical Test Results Management (CTRM) for easy documentation of critical findings by physicians and Message Minder for automated appointment reminders to patients. The new features complement already existing noteworthy functionalities that include flexible licensing and storage solutions, a built-in web server for access to images and reports, user-definable search and work lists, and an intuitive MedVIEW Viewer interface with built-in dictation and transcription functions based on common medical communication standards.
Matrox Xenia Series provides triple-digital-display support from a single-slot PCI Express board including forward and backward-compatibility with a broad range of monitors and projectors for the utmost flexibility. Additional key benefits include pristine image quality at resolutions ranging up to 8MP, new technology to enable optimum display calibration (via Matrox DLC™ and 8/10/13-bit gamma LUTs), and Matrox PowerDesk Zoom functionality, which enables the replication of any portion of a dual-display desktop using a single projector.
