It is more than just her knowledge of numbers that makes Ashlie Cade a successful CFO, it is her ability to look beyond the numbers and provide guidance for profitable growth.
Ashlie Cade, a Certified Public Accountant, has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and over 19 years of experience in accounting including working for several public accounting firms and private companies. However, Ashlie really hit her stride when she joined Johnson Lambert.
As CFO of Johnson Lambert since 2005, Ashlie Cade has helped the firm double its practice support staff, open two new offices, select and implement time and billing systems software and improve revenue recognition and reporting processes.
A CFO with many hats, Ashlie not only manages the financial and budget aspects of the firm, she is also responsible for overseeing the management of practice support staff which includes Administration, Marketing, HR and IT. Ashlie has excelled here in pushing the firm into new growth areas while ensuring that everyone remains focused on the bottom line.
Throughout these turbulent economic times, Ashlie has worked closely with the firm's managing partner, Debbie Lambert, helping the firm thrive by recognizing areas of opportunities externally and internally. In this past year, she has put new systems in place through various cloud technology that capture: industry and client reporting information; revenue reporting and recognition; and longer-term financial forecasting. The longer-term financial forecasting is now a key tool that helps the firm's partners see the vision of where the firm will be 2 - 3 years from now.
