Asentinel Continues Global Expansion Throughout Latin America
Asentinel, a technology-driven Communications Lifecycle Management company, today announced multiple partnerships with Latin American telecommunications firms Intersel, eMovika, NEOBIS, RedCom, SkyOne and Telemikro, with headquarters in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico, Colombia and Brazil.
- (1888PressRelease) February 26, 2013 - Memphis, Tennesse- This combination delivers leading technology and advanced services across the entire Latin America and Caribbean markets.
"Asentinel's cloud-based Telecom Management (TEM) platform will empower our LATAM Partners expertise in maximizing telephony savings," said Alex Bittencourt, Sales Director at Asentinel. "A combination of economic growth, rising consumer demand and regulatory changes has created great opportunities for TEM in the region." In a recent article, SWOT: Telecom Expense Management, Worldwide provided by Gartner, the market opportunity was identified by a "40% compound annual growth (CAGR) in the Latin American market."
One of the challenges of an undeveloped market with few providers delivering automation, integration and visibility of telecom expenses starts with "educating our clients on the benefits of investing in a TEM solution," said Alex Santacruz General Manager for SkyOne. "The flexible and robust Asentinel application will help our clients to manage their expenses and retain savings quickly." However, educating and nurturing partnerships proves to be just as important as "there are some companies who offer TEM solutions with in-house software without a complete understanding of the market" said Santacruz. "For Telemikro, it was really important for us to create an alliance with our TEM provider. Asentinel's global capabilities has helped us to develop the market in Brazil, providing our customers with a single application-centric platform for the complete lifecycle," said Ricardo de Figueiredo Caldas, CEO for Telemikro.
For NEOBIS, managing more than $74 million USD in telecommunication contracts representing more than 2,000 invoices monthly, integration of a TEM tool into their unique offering of services was essential. "We had developed our core business based on professional experiences, standards of excellence and applied industry best practices to grow the LATAM market, but did not have suitable software. Asentinel's expansion into Latin America with Telecom and Mobility Management solutions matched our business needs 100%," said Manuel Gutierrez, General Manager for NEOBIS.
Providing a Telecom Management solution complements the service portfolio for Mexico-based Intersel. "Offering wide geographical coverage to multinational corporations in the Americas with the ability to generate a strong local presence and an understanding of the telecom market for each country, has us very pleased," said Arturo Diaz Monge, CEO for Intersel. The adoption of new methodologies and technologies is challenging to say the least but bigger is not always better. "Asentinel is the best comprehensive solution and company in understanding the global needs and real market in Argentina," said Gustavo Manzella, Director for eMovika.
The ability to provide a leading edge solution to an emerging market with a "Cost savings tool to organizations spread across the Caribbean equals opportunities," cited Roberto Ortiz Roses, CEO of RedCom. The results obtained so far have not even scratched the surface as to potential with the LATAM market. "There is much to be done and rewards to be gained," said Bittencourt, speaking from 10 plus years of experience with a focus in the TEM industry and a Latin American native.
