New docAlpha 5.0 enhancements focus on speed, performance, flexibility and precision to optimize email batch processing, automate workflow assignments and extend process visibility to vendors/partners.
- (1888PressRelease) August 28, 2017 - ONTARIO, CANADA — Artsyl Technologies, Inc.™, a leading global provider of smart process technology for data capture and document workflow processing, today announced the latest update to docAlpha 5.0, the company’s flagship smart process platform. docAlpha 5.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4) introduces a new vendor portal and delivers enhancements to further optimize email batch processes for content and attachments, rules-based and on-demand workflow assignments and enhancements to ERP connectors for Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
“With each new service pack release to docAlpha V5, Artsyl Technologies focuses on four cornerstones: speed, performance, usability and flexibility. docAlpha V5 service pack 4 (SP4) adds a fifth element—precision,” said Jeff Moore, Chief Sales Officer at Artsyl Technologies.
The element of precision means that docAlpha can deliver even more sophisticated data validation against ERP/ECM systems by relying on fuzzy logic to compare/contracts extracted data against ERP system records. It also applies to SP4’s ability to refine document extraction to specific page ranges and assign different definitions for different pages within a batch. New rules-based logic and on-demand functionality to assign workflows to documents in a batch further refine how docAlpha can handle large volumes or documents and data with speed and precision.

ERP Connector Enhancements
The Artsyl docAlpha platform ERP integrations include Microsoft Dynamics AX, GP and NAV, Microsoft SharePoint and ReQlogic’s e-procurement solution, in addition to Oracle, SAP Business One, and leading cloud ERPs like Acumatica and NetSuite among others.
docAlpha V5 SP4 includes ERP connector enhancements for Acumatica Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
The new docAlpha Dynamics GP connector includes support for new documents types and to the corresponding directories within Dynamics GP. With support for Sales Transaction, Receiving Transaction and Payables Manual Payment transactions and associated data, docAlpha is positioned to support the automation of sales orders.
In additional to new transactions, the docAlpha GP connector now supports the ability to store file links within Dynamics GP, allowing users to view digital documents like AP invoices along with transaction data from within the ERP system.
New Vendor Portal and Refactored Validation Station
SP4 includes a refactored validation station to optimize performance and enhance the user experience. It also offers a Web portal that outside stakeholders can use to monitor progress on documents they have submitted, allowing vendors to keep track of invoices in process.
Other new platform capabilities provided in docAlpha 5.0 SP4 allow organizations to:
• Efficiently and effectively manage large batches of emails for intelligent capture; including BOTH file attachments and email body content
• Refine document extraction to specific page ranges and assign different definitions for different pages
• Execute workflow actions “on request,” so that document routing/handling functions can be execute ‘on demand’.
