EdgelessMedia™ from Arrive, brings the exciting convergence of Pro-AV with IT and provides systems designers and installers the unique opportunity of using industry standard and economical LAN cabling (standard CAT 5e/CAT6 shielded twisted pair wire) with the ubiquitous RJ45 jack at both ends.
EdgelessMedia™ by Arrive will significantly reduce the cabling requirements and provide customers the opportunity for connecting source devices (video players, laptops, set-top boxes, game players, media centers) using low cost standard cable which can provide lifetime warranty of as long as 20 years from quality cable manufacturers for certified installations. Arrive EdgelessMedia™ offers Single Wire Certified Systems that connect to each other using a single LAN cable with RJ45 jacks doing away with the complexity of the plethora of Pro-AV cabling required with conventional systems design.
This is good news for both AV and IT systems integrators and building designers since the same cabling and install standards can be used within an installation site thereby reducing the contractual complexity related to building contracts. It also makes the design decisions simpler.
EdgelessMedia™ by Arrive expands the integrated solutions market by introducing a whole new series of interfaces that converge disparate standards of IEEE ratified Audio Video Bridging (AVB), PoE (Power over Ethernet), HD-Base-T, PoH (Power over HD-Base-T) and 802.11n (wireless) bringing seamless interoperability for systems designers.
