Armin Meier joins IBS Board
Former CEO of Kuoni Travel and Chief Commercial Officer of Travelport, Armin Meier, has joined the Board of IBS Software as an Independent Director. Armin comes with over three decades of IT and Travel industry experience.
- (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2013 - Trivandrum: Armin was the President & CEO of Atraxis (1998-2002), an autonomous IT company within the Swissair group. He served the Federation of Migros Cooperatives, Zurich, the largest retail enterprise in Switzerland, from 2002-2005 as the Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Logistics & IT. He was the Group Chief Executive Officer of Kuoni Travel Holding, Zurich, Switzerland (2005-2008), leading the operations of the CHF 4.7 billion European leisure travel company with a workforce of 10,000 across 30 countries. Armin also served as the Chief Commercial Officer for Travelport (2008-2010), one of the world's largest travel content aggregators and distributors with a foot print in over 170 countries. Armin Meier is currently the owner and Managing Director of Boyden Global Executive Search, Zurich.
