"The last time we released music, it was on a MySpace player. Eighteen years later, no expectations means no disappointment," says Brandon Kellum, lead vocalist of The Hostage Situation. Reflecting on the band's new single 'The Last Leg,' Kellum captures the zeitgeist: "We’re living through chaotic times. Sometimes it feels like we’re chasing distraction as a way to ignore our inevitable oblivion."
Alongside the release, the band has announced their highly anticipated annual reunion show scheduled for July 13, 2024, at The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix, AZ. The event continues their tradition of bringing together metal and punk bands from the early aughts to support a worthy cause.
