Arizona Artists Neighborhood Open Studio Tour
Local artists are bringing their neighborhood together for the upcoming holidays. Several artists found each other within a Scottsdale location and creativity started inspiring a studio tour to get to know more of the neighbors. November 16th, artists along Shea Blvd. and 124th Street in Scottsdale, AZ will welcome you to see their works from 9:00 - 4:00. This event is free and all are welcome.
- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) November 03, 2019 - Artists, Linda Harrison-Parsons and Nancy McIntosh discovered they lived within 2 miles of each other. Nancy invited Linda to be part of an art event that she was doing at her home/studio. The idea came about to see if there were other artists who lived in the same community. Linda put the word out on the Next Door app and found several that might be interested in doing a Open Studio tour in the fall of 2019. What came out of this is the Arizona Artists Open Studio and Art on the Patio Tour.
Nancy McIntosh will host several artists at her location: 10300 N. 124th Street, Scottsdale, AZ just off of Shea Blvd. The artist will be spread throughout her Patio Garden area. Nancy is a glass and metal working and will have her work displayed in her studio space.
Just down from Nancy is Jill Friedberg, her casita studio is on 12402 E. Cayuse Court, Scottsdale, AZ. She will have her mixed media collage works on canvas and wood displayed throughout her studio. Jill has been featured in the Phoenix Magazine, Tucson Biennial, Herberger Theater Art Gallery and many more.
Around the corner takes you to Linda Harrison-Parsons home/studio at the end of 9205 N. 128th Street, Scottsdale, AZ. You will enter to find her studio just off the front door. A wildlife and nature artist, working with oils and pastels often on handmade papers she has created. She teaches workshops making recycled paper, handmade books and small group/private lessons. She will have her handmade journals on sale, along with cards, prints and original works.

This event is free to come and look around, enjoy the afternoon. It is family friendly. Join us on November 16th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, start at the corner of Shea Blvd. and 124th Street, Scottsdale, AZ and work your way to Arizona Artists Open Studios.
