ArCycle vmBackup is a credible, fast, and hypervisor-native solution that brings together backup and replication tools. Installing takes just a few minutes due to its agentless architecture. ArCycle vmBackup eliminates the downtime of virtual servers and hosted VMs. It delivers fast and efficient backup and instant recovery of both entire virtual machines and individual files. Besides the full VM backup, ArCycle provides an incremental backup option. It stores only those blocks that have changed since the last backup operation and ensures a considerable reduction of storage space requirements. ArCycle's sandbox permits running virtual machines from an archive in an isolated environment for testing or troubleshooting, while the auto-testing feature with e-mail notification verifies recoverability of already created archives.
With built-in replication, ArCycle vmBackup copies VM data from ESXi (Hyper-V) servers to another host providing a near-CDP solution. Replication is available in 3 modes: manual (performed once), regular (scheduled), and regular with cyclic snapshots.
ArCycle leverages Microsoft Data Deduplication technology of Windows Server 2012 that automatically removes repeated data from the backup. Thus, it reduces the amount of data stored on a disk drive and cuts down the storage hardware expenses.
