Architectural Firm BBA to Debut Two New Luxury Projects in Miami
Internationally-Renowned BBA Builds Stunning Key Biscayne Residence and Plans for Vibrant Learning Center in Heart of Wynwood.
- (1888PressRelease) September 30, 2014 - MIAMI, FL - Berenblum Busch Architecture (BBA), an international architecture and interior design firm based in Miami, is pleased to announce two new projects that will serve as significant additions to their portfolio of work in South Florida and globally.
The residential project is a luxury home on Key Biscayne poetically called Ocean View Residence, a contemporary home recently designed for an European family which is a stunning, harmonious addition to the island's waterfront skyline. The 3,500 sq. ft. residence has three levels with the public spaces, garage and a guest room on the ground floor; the bedrooms plus an office on the second level; and an expansive roof terrace for dining and entertainment.
Overlooking spectacular Biscayne Bay, the modern home is organized to maximize the beautiful water views and create a sense that the exterior garden and pool are an extension of the interior space. To achieve this, BBA employed several strategies such as designing a main facade that incorporates large sliding glass panels that can be opened in mild weather to increase integration with its tropical surrounding and a pool deck that extends seamlessly at the same level from the outside into the residence. Ocean View Residence is laid out with a compact footprint and an open plan in the kitchen, grand room and dining areas. Cross ventilation and ample natural light help augment the connection between the house and the surrounding island environment.
The second project, called Code Wynwood, will transform an existing commercial building located in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District into a vibrant learning center for Luxury Brand Partners, a company well known for creating artist-driven beauty brand consumer products. The approximately 6,000 sq. ft. space will feature classrooms, a hospitality facility and meeting rooms for the LBP Group, which is developing a line of luxury hair care and cosmetics for the professional salon industry.
BBA designed the new project to convey a sense of excitement with an iconic look that will fit right into its artsy neighborhood environment. The learning and atelier spaces, photo shoot area and a café will provide top-of-the-line education, bringing together elite international and U.S.-based hair artists, models and stylists for intensive training sessions, as well as dining and entertainment on-site.
