Architect Rabits & Associates Inc. Adds New Partner
Fulvio Romano elevated to principal of longstanding Central Florida firm.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) July 25, 2012 - After a quarter of a century of doing things the same way, local architect Robert Rabits figured it was time for a change. In June, he named Fulvio Romano a partner of Rabits & Associates Inc.
The firm will now be known as Rabits & Romano Architecture, Planning & Design.
Romano has been with the firm for the past three years working on conceptual design, construction documents and 3D modeling. He is now responsible for business planning, marketing and public relations.
"I added Fulvio as a partner because I see great potential and drive in him," said Robert Rabits, Owner of Rabits & Romano Architects, Inc. "My weaknesses are his strengths, and I cannot wait to pass on my 40 years of experience and knowledge to him. He's well known in certain communities which will lead to potential new clients and our expansion."
Romano plans to use his Brazilian roots to help grow the firm.
"I am extremely active in Florida's Brazilian community, which is quickly growing," Romano said. "I want to become more involved in this untapped market."
After receiving his Master's Degree in architecture from the University of South Florida, Romano worked for Atlantic Express 4, Inc in Orlando.
Recently, he helped complete an $8 million, 270-bedroom dormitory at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Fla. Rabits & Romano Architects are currently working on a 122-room assisted care living facility in Orlando and exterior alterations to a 40,000-square-foot shopping center on I-Drive.
