April 12: NAIOP New Jersey to Present Renewable Energy Seminar
Program will feature preview of New Jersey's revamped Energy Master Plan, a Solar Case Study, and Energy Efficiencies in Existing Buildings.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2011 - Much has happened in the area of solar and renewable energy since a NAIOP New Jersey seminar drew a capacity crowd in October, including an evolving federal and state legislative landscape, a re-evaluation of New Jersey's Energy Master Plan, and continually evolving technology. Those topics and more will provide the basis for "Renewable Energy Part II: Solar & Energy Efficient Systems for Office & Industrial Buildings," slated for Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Sheraton Edison Hotel, Edison, N.J.
"This highly topical seminar will provide a not-to-be-missed opportunity to hear the latest news is this rapidly evolving field," said Michael G. McGuinness, CEO of NAIOP New Jersey. "Our first seminar drew a capacity crowd, and we anticipate this one will as well."
The program will include a preview of the Christie Administration's revamped Energy Master Plan, as well as a review of the state's renewable energy-related incentives. One panel will provide a Solar Case Study-focusing on how a New Jersey industrial developer evaluated, selected, financed and successfully integrated a solar energy system.
Existing buildings should not be overlooked, however. A second panel will discuss Energy Efficiencies for Existing Office Buildings, focusing on the evaluation of potential efficiencies, the most appropriate technology, and realizing the maximum savings.
Registration, networking, and breakfast will begin at 8:15 a.m., followed by the program at 9 a.m. To register, or for more information, contact NAIOP New Jersey at (732) 729-9900, or visit www.naiopnj.org.
