Apple Makes LocalScope "App Of The Week" in the Australia and New Zealand App Store
LocalScope, a social data and search-engine powered GPS + Navigation app, gets the "App of the Week" spot in Australia and New Zealand. The app also lands a coveted space in Apple's "College Bound" apps for college students section.

Apple seems to agree. The app got the "App of the Week" spot in both countries, and the developers (Cynapse, based out of Mumbai) couldn't be more thrilled. LocalScope puts an intuitive twist on GPS, pulling search results together to give users a handy overview of what's available right next door. With a few swipes and flicks, you can use Google, Bing, Foursquare, and Twitter results to find restaurants, gas stations, hotels, gyms, and everything else in your local area.
