Apple Macintosh Release the New iPad 2
Rumors and speculation abound with the release of the new iPad2 tablet device.
- (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2011 - First there was the desktop, then the laptop; later net books made their way onto the consumer electronic gadget market, affording maximum portability for cyberspace connectivity addicts. The eventual release of the iPhone, found Apple integrating a handheld phone with internet connectivity and GPS direction finding technology along with additional power to do almost anything through add-on applications. Apple is without a doubt at the forefront of the innovative electronic computing and communicating device industry.
Enter the iPad, a variation of the laptop but more portable, lighter and innovative. With over 15 million of the original iPads already sold, it seems that Apple has found a way to create a new electronic market segment by introducing a creative product that previously didn't exist.
The release of the iPad 2, presents the latest iteration from Apple with possible improvements making it a much more capable and potential competitor in terms of power to some laptops.
Apple is keeping a lid on the details of this one real tight. The actual release is slated for March 2, but at this point February 28, 2011 the talk is mostly rumors without actual hard evidence in hand.
So, as rumor has it, we possibly could expect dual cameras both front and back along with a slimmer, trimmer unit. Even if the two camera rumor does not materialize, there most likely will be a single front mounted camera for video chatting purposes.
Other possible improvements are said to be a faster A5 dual-core processor along with the customer's choice of either 512MB or 1GB of RAM. There may also be a dual-mode GSM CDMA chip within the inner workings of the second generation iPad2. The original iPad has a 1GHz A4 single core processor with only 256MB of RAM.
A potential dual-core SGX543 graphics processor from Imagination Technologies may make this iPad able to compete with laptops for even graphic intensive applications and game usage.
Although the screen is reported to be unchanged at the 9.7 inch width with the original resolution of 1024x768, this has proven to be adequate for most uses. The new iPad 2 is purported to be thinner with larger stereo speakers providing more robust audio. It seems that a sleek and ergonomically exciting flat black case is likely with possibly a white model on the horizon. One gossip has the new iPad as sporting a super strength and light weight carbon fiber case.
Software improvements are also likely to grace Apple's sleek, new portable computing and multimedia device. More than likely, the introduction of iOS 4.3, is probably part of the new product release. Look for longer AirPlay support and news subscriptions as part of this OS goodie package. From the extreme rumor mill we hear the inclusion of software applications such as Photo Booth and iLife multimedia editing suite may provide great value added features to the device.
Remember, the secrecy at Apple over this release has been tight considering the antics of the last release of the iPhone. Most of the information printed here is simply speculation from technology experts across the web.
The original iPad was responsible for 75% of tablet computer shipments worldwide. Apple stocks have been on an upward rise over the last 12 months showing a 73% increase. With the new Apple iPad 2 set to debut on Wednesday, Apple's stock is set for another huge jump with some dependence on the public's like/dislike of the new unit.
In closing, with all the rumors abounding, considering recent innovative tablet computer releases from such makers as Dell, Acer, Asus, Motorola, Samsung, View Sonic, LG, Blackberry, HP and more, consumers should be confident Apple will be coming out of the gates with powerful and sleek new technology for the new iPad2.
