In Delhi, the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals has been ranked second before Sir Ganga Ram Hospital; Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket; and Medanta-The Medicity in Gurgaon, to name a few.     The survey was conducted among 200 general physicians and 320 specialists from 10 specializations, including cardiology, neurology, paediatrics, oncology, diabetology, infertility. The specializations were identified based on the perceived demand for various specialized treatments and medical tourism opportunities.

    The GPs and specialists evaluated the hospitals on the basis of six parameters, like competency of doctors, infrastructure and facilities, innovation in treatment, availability of multiple specializations, patient care and hospital environment.

    According to the survey, the Apollo Hospitals, Chennai has been ranked as the best private hospital in the country for oncology, diabetology, cardiology and paediatrics. The Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi has been ranked as the best private multi-speciality healthcare establishment for treatment of infertility.
