Apex Kroger To Offer Free Wine Tasting On Thursday, Sept. 21
Event Will Include Chef Shoppe Foods And Gourmet Cheeses For Sampling.

(NYSE: KR) (http://www.kroger.com/), the nation's largest traditional grocery retailer with 16 stores throughout the Triangle and North Carolina, has announced that the Apex store located at 940 U.S. Highway 64 is hosting a free wine tasting on Friday, Sept. 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. To accompany the wine tasting, the Apex Kroger will provide Chef Shoppe foods, gourmet cheeses and some desserts for sampling. The wines available for sampling at the event will include:

The Apex Kroger offers a selection of more than 2,000 wines from a dozen countries spanning the globe, including the United States, Australia, Austria, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain and South Africa, as well as regional favorites. A wine consultant is available Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Kroger offers a 20 percent discount off any six or more bottles 750 milliliters or larger every day, including all sale prices. Special orders are available, and advance ordering is encouraged to guarantee adequate quantities are available.
