Apeekaboo Imaging expands Baby Scan operation
Gill Scott, the founder of the UKs leading Baby Scan and ultrasound pregnancy scan clinic, has expanded her operation to accommodate several new staff and new premises in the trendy new Thames Innovation Centre, Thamesmead.

Moving into 2 premium suites in the centre, the team are preparing themselves for a 32% increase in baby scans over 2010.
"Due to an increase in pregnancies around the London area and a strong marketing campaign for the promotion of our services, we now have to develop our infrastructure to cater for a considerable increase in demand. Many new mums to be appreciate what a baby scan can do for them, both in terms of peace of mind and support throughout their pregnancy." - Gill said.
In June 2009 the team were carrying out approximately 40 baby scans per month. Now, Apeekaboo Imaging is responsible for over 60 baby scans per month, including 4D and 3D baby scans. The new 4d scan technology has enabled Apeekaboo to offer ultrasounds captured in movement, which can be burned to a disc and saved as a memory.
Although the most popular form of ultrasound scans are the 4D Scans, Apeekaboo still conduct a large number of 3D Scans due to the amount of health information that can be obtained.
