- (1888PressRelease) February 27, 2012 - SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - ANXeBusiness Corp. (ANX), a leading provider of managed security, compliance and connectivity solutions, recently showcased its "Michigan Pride" for guests at the North American International Auto Show Charity Night Preview. ANX enjoyed playing host to representatives from its major auto clients, such as Ford, GM, Nissan, American Axle, Penske and others, at the sold out event. Charity Night organizers announced that sales for the event were 20 percent higher than last year, as over $3 million was raised for Detroit children's charities.
ANX kicked off its evening at the Skyline Club in Southfield, where guests were welcomed with appetizers and drinks, and were invited to pose for individual photographs that were later presented to them in keepsake frames. Guests were then escorted via private transportation to fully preview and enjoy the Auto Show, where ANX clients could meet and talk with auto industry representatives, including Penske race car driver and NASCAR champion Brad Keselowski.
Following the show, ANX guests were returned to the Skyline Club for a special "Made in Michigan" party. Beloved Michigan beverage favorites were served, including Faygo's soda and Stroh's beer. Guests dined on food that reflected different sectors of Michigan, themes of which included The Great Lakes, Greek Town, Hamtramck, Detroit Mexican Town, The Wild, Motown Dogs, Ferndale and Detroit Deserts, as well as many other Great Lake State favorites. Each guest departed with a special gift bag filled with party favors and items that continued the "Michigan Pride" theme.
"This year's auto show has been a roaring success," said ANX Chief Technology Officer Abdallah Shanti. "The new products introduced at the show were jaw-dropping. It made us feel very proud to be part of this tight automotive community. We are pleased to have participated in it with our hosting of another equally successful Charily Night event for our valued clients."
The North American International Auto Show's Charity Night Preview is many anticipated annual events. All proceeds from the event goes directly to the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan, Boys Hope and Girls Hope of Detroit, The Children's Center, Judson Center, The Detroit Institute for Children, ThinkDetroit PAL, March of Dimes, Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation and the DADA Charitable Foundation Fund.
