Anthony Oak Flooring Premiers Its Unfinished Wood Flooring Line at the National Wood Flooring Association Expo
Anthony Oak Flooring debuts its premier line of unfinished red and white oak flooring from century old Anthony Timberlands, Inc.
- St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) April 23, 2015 - Anthony Oak Flooring, a division of Anthony Timberlands, Inc. (ATI) out of Arkansas, makes its premier in April at the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) with a booth designed and built Mecca Design and Production, a boutique scenic element and services design/build group. This division, with 200,000 acres of timberland, offers natural, unfinished wood flooring. Mecca fabricated the background wall, pop-up wall and floor panel system to showcase Anthony Oak Flooring in addition to doing a layout that highlights their premier unfinished floors (red and white oak) to show to the perspective distributors. Anthony Timberlands began operation at a small sawmill near Bearden, Arkansas in 1907. Still a family-run operation, ATI management is committed to the "multiple use concept," in which timber growth, wildlife habitat, scenic and recreational quality, and protection of the watershed all share importance. And following the lead of ATI's founder Garland Anthony in the 1920's, the company practices sustainable forestry and all lands under their management are enrolled in a program known for sustainable timber management, American Tree Farm System. This year's NWFA Expo, dedicated exclusively to wood flooring, happens April 29 and 30 in St. Louis, where the NWFA started 30 years ago.
According to Mecca Design and Production's Kenneth Mecca, "It's wonderful to get to highlight Anthony Oak Flooring's unfinished wood flooring line and help them share the history of this company, dedicated to sustainable forestry, as it continues to bring new products to the forefront."
