Sage 300 ERP was installed with client server architecture for Lan users while remote access was given using their Virtual Private Network.
With KI, Sage took the module wise implementation approach. The core modules consisting of Accounts Payable, Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory Control, Purchase Orders and Sales Orders were implemented in the 1st phase. This made adaptation to new system very smooth in terms of user acceptance and training. Post system stabilization, Phase II, consisting of Manufacturing Order and Production Planning was implemented to do a detailed level tracking and managing of Inventory along with core manufacturing.
This method of implementing in Phases made the implementation process hassle-free and resulted in a quick turnaround time rarely seen in the Furniture business vertical. It also helped users to understand the architecture of an ERP system and come up with crystal clear requirements for the crucial process of Manufacturing and Production Planning Implementation.
