Another ARI DP Simulator installation receives the coveted NI Class A approval
ARI DP Simulator successfully installed at YAK India, Marine training institute.
- (1888PressRelease) October 14, 2015 - ARI Simulation installed the state-of-the-art Full Mission NI CLASS A DP Simulator at Mumbai-based YAK DP Training Centre. The centre and the installation were successfully audited by NI auditors in Aug'15 leading to the Centre receiving approvals for conducting 'Sea Time Reduction Course', 'Simulator Course' (Class A Simulator) and 'Induction Course (Class C Simulator).
The Class A Simulator includes a large 10 channel visualisation system, extensive vessel maneuvering hardware HMI, Anchor Handling & Towing modules (including a full set of hardware and software functions), Winch view, Radar, ECDIS, Navigation Aids and Sensor simulation and a fully integrated OEM DP2 system. The Instructor station is capable of creating a complete range of 'Failure' conditions. Multiple Own vessels, target vessels and offshore exercise areas are provided that meet the highest requirements in accordance with NI Standrads for Class A simulators.
