Annual Harvest Festival Hosted by Prominent Atlanta Leader slated for October 25, 2014
Event for the whole family that features rides, games and entertainment that is totally free to the community.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) October 24, 2014 - The annual Harvest Fest - featuring live music, food, sweets, games and much more - is slated for Saturday, October 25, at The Harvest Tabernacle Church located at 1450 South Deshon Road in Lithonia, GA. Sr. Pastor Apostle Travis Jennings and his wife, Pastor Stephanie Jennings has made the event totally free to the community.
Festivities will kick off at 11 a.m. and attendees will be able participate in any number of fall activities, including face painting and game trucks. Kids will be able to ride trains, compete on several obstacle courses - smaller kids will have a chance to interact with several popular superheroes. A diverse schedule of music and entertainment will begin at 11:30 a.m. and acts will perform throughout the day. Food will be available throughout the day.
Sr. Pastor, Apostle Jennings will have car loan and mortgage representatives on hand to help Harvest Fest attendees apply for home or car loans. Health screeners will also be on site screening attendees' cholesterol, blood pressure and HIV statuses.
The event is completely free and open to the community, but organizers have requested a donation of 1 toy to support the ministry's Gift that Gives Holiday initiatives that provides toys for single and low-income families within the community.
