AGWA's Annual Conference is a must for all grant writers, consultants and those interested in becoming a grant writer. Attendees will have an opportunity to network with other Certified Grant Writers and grant managers via networking luncheons occurring between presentations from members and guest speakers. Presentations from Nonprofit Organizations, Researchers, Evaluators, Foundations and Grant Consultants are sure to be informative to all. Guests whom attended this annual conference previously, have found great benefit. On the 15th of November, Jeff Gabbert shall present his knowledge upon Grant-making for Senior Services. Speaking in consort, Judith Canales presents Funding Initiatives for 2013, followed by Theresa Walsh sharing her information in Federal Grant Writing Processes leading to a Networking Luncheon. Post Grant Writers Networking Luncheon, presentations including Top 10 Tips for Successful Program Development, Foundation Resources for Grant Writers and Federal Funding Update for Indian Country will commence. Concluding with an 10th Anniversary Dinner, an option for guests to digest all of the rich Grant information presented, quickly realizing great benefit on the first of this two day conference.
Friday, November 16th day two of American Grant Writer's Association Annual Conference begins with an Update of Grants Funded and 2013 Grant Funding Outlook. Topics for the day include; HHS Grant Management, Utilizing Public Library Resources and Transportation Grant Outlook for 2013. A networking lunch will be repeated Friday as well, providing all members and guests an opportunity to network with associates, peers and benefactors. A second networking luncheon provides ample opportunity for members and guests to shake hands and get to know one another if time was short at Thursday's luncheon.
