The path to a successful editing career has changed quite dramatically over the past decade. Modern day editors not only need to possess a broader range of skills beyond just editing, but also be able to think on their feet and learn technologies on the spot with standard post-production workflows being a thing of the past. On Friday, October 28th the Editor's Lounge discussion panel series returns with another exciting installment "A Fresh Look At Editing" with an evening full of advice and tips from a group of editors who have developed their careers right in the thick of all the dynamic changes currently going on in the post-production industry.
Journalist Debra Kaufman will moderate the discussion that will include film & television editors, Tyler Cook (The Originals), Ana Florit (Sharknado 2: The Second One), Carsten Kurpanek (Earth To Echo) and Chris A.
