ANNOUNCING THE LAUNCH OF OUT-FIT CHALLENGE-A REGIONAL LGBT MASS SPORTS EVENT Connecting the Community through Competition at Miami Beach Gay Pride
Out-Fit Challenge - hosts of 5K-7K obstacle course styled mud runs partners with Miami Beach Gay Pride 2013.
- Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) February 12, 2013 - Out-Fit Challenge is a new LGBT-focused outdoor sports organization that is honored to be a partner of Miami Beach Gay Pride 2013. The organization was founded to bring members of the LGBT community together in the spirit of friendly competition. The purpose is to create social and professional connections, celebrate life, while also giving back to the LGBT community.
"Miami Beach Gay Pride is proud to partner with companies that not only promote a healthy lifestyle, but also supports the community," said Jorge Gesser, the marketing and sponsorship coordinator at Miami Beach Gay Pride.
Out-Fit Challenge hosts 5K to 7K cross-country trail runs, dotted by 10 to 15 military style obstacles, followed by an epic outdoor party. The inaugural event is taking place as part of the official line-up of festivities during Miami Beach Gay Pride in Oleta State Park, on April 13, 2013. Additional races in New York and Chicago are also confirmed for 2013.
Apart from putting on race events, the organization aims to aid charities that are making a significant difference in the lives of LGBT individuals across the US. "Out-Fit Challenge is in the process of selecting national and local charitable organizations focusing on fulfilling the needs of the LGBT community. We will make a financial contribution to their cause, and donate resources to serve as volunteers, planners or speakers at their events," said Tory Fitzgerald, the founder of Out-Fit Challenge.
The organization has recently completed an exhaustive process to select charities and an announcement about them will be released soon.
In 2013, the following events are confirmed: April 13th in Miami, FL; June 29th in New York, NY; and August 3rd in Chicago, IL.
