Android and Iphone Travel App Released For International Travel Preparation
PV Travelers Guide launched a new Iphone and Android travel app. The application is geared towards targeting international travelers looking for mobile travel resources.

PV Travelers Guide created the app to provide real time feeds to smartphone users who are travel enthusiasts. The following are more examples of the features provided.
- Users of the application can instantly become a part of the app simply by interacting on the Facebook page of PV Travelers Guide. Once a travel related post is made on the Facebook wall, it will show up in real time on the mobile application.
- The same can be said for Twitter users. Once a new tweet is posted, the Android travel app will update automatically.
- The Share feature allows mobile users to quickly send important travel information to their friends and family.
- The Iphone travel app automatically picks up any new travel updates, warnings or alerts from the blog and RSS feed.
- There is also a YouTube module integrated into the application to provide travel video. Although videos can be submitted for inclusion into the travel app, at this time they will first need to be manually approved first.
"We quietly have been working on different travel apps and widgets to make a wide range of travel information available to smartphone users," said Nicholas Martin, Operations Director.
"I think establishing this type of platform will not only allow people planning international travel to stay updated, but also encourage them to become a part of the app. Right now we have version 1 out. The upgraded version 2 will be out for immediate release in early August 2011. Current users of version 1 will see the notification on their application when the new version is available."
