Andrews Institute Launches in Lake Mary

Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) September 11, 2014 - There is no handbook for being a parent, but now parents have a resource to communicate with other parents and advisers right here in Central Florida.

The Andrews Institute, based in Lake Mary, aims to give parents the advice and information they need to parent more confidently and to teach their children more compassionately. The Andrews Institute is founded by Sheila and Scott Linville, lifelong educators. The Linville's started and developed the Lake Mary Montessori Academy more than 20 years ago.

"The mission of the Andrews Institute is to be all-inclusive and a resource for any parent," said Sheila Linville. "When I was growing up, we learned from our parents and other family members around the kitchen table. At the Andrews Institute, we want to bring back a little bit of that feel (the kitchen table) and provide opportunities for face-to-face communication with the sharing of ideas."

The Andrews Institute is sponsoring a one-day Mom's Retreat on October 11 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Lake Lily Cottage in Maitland. Life Coach and Andrews Institute team member, Michele DeCaul, will lead discussions. Learning the simple, yet basic steps of BREATHING again - to slow down in this "high speed world". This day, we surrender the role of "Super Mom" and honor the wonderful person within. As moms, learning to create space for YOU in your own life is essential when it comes to renewing your mind, body and spirit.

Participants in the October event will:

- Learn how to take care of you, so that you can better take care of those important to you!
- Gain strategies on how to continue to growing socially, emotionally and spiritually!
- Learn how NOT to get lost in the midst of your various roles & responsibilities!
- Build deeper more meaningful relationships with your family & friends through learning more about you!
- Learn how to create "space" in your life through setting boundaries!
- Identify as a mom, what legacy you would like to impart in the lives of your children!

The Andrews Institute services and assists parents with children birth to college-age. Their focus is on the whole child and the whole family. The Institute also has a consultant division, which helps schools to improve their operations, teaching methods and marketing.

Andrews Institute has a mission to provide space and time for parents, children, young adults and educators to learn from experts in their field. They provide families with the opportunity to develop a map for their child and their life.
