- (1888PressRelease) April 22, 2011 - Andrew Simpson plays the lead role in the upcoming feature film "Heathens & Thieves". Andrew has previously acted in the television movie True Carribean Pirates. He attended American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) that changed his perspective towards career goals and helped him to focus on acting.
Andrew was interviewed by CelebrityDialogue.com on April 20th, 2011. Talking about his upcoming film Andrew said that Heathens & Thieves is about two drifters a few years after the Civil War who, while on the run in Northern California, hear rumors of stolen gold hidden on a ranch owned by a Chinese man and his wife. While the drifters try to con the rancher out of the gold, if there is any at all, a fairly ruthless Civil War colonel arrives, and brings with him betrayal and violence and revenge. Andrew's character, Saul, is one of the two drifters.
Andrew elaborated how he got this role and said that he spent quality time with his co-actors Gwendoline Yeo and Don Swayze on the sets.
Andrew said that one of the greatest parts of the entire film process was his relationship with directors John and Megan.
