- (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2011 - CARLSBAD, Calif.,- Anchor Audio, Inc., the industry leader in portable sound systems, showcased their new RescueMAN personal public address system at this year's InfoComm International trade show in Orlando and received optimistic remarks from the emergency responder and education markets.
As a part of Anchor Audio's commitment to developing and expanding their product line, Anchor set a goal to design a personal PA system catering to the first responder market or any individual or group needing additional voice amplification. Anchor wanted to design a lightweight, easy-to-use, and easy to carry product that would fit securely and comfortably over emergency protection equipment. Anchor achieved this goal with the RescueMAN after months of market research with various local search and rescue, police and fire departments. The most talked about feature on the RescueMAN was the record and replay function which allows a user to record a voice message up to 20 seconds with repeating capability. In addition, the high efficiency speaker provides crystal clear sound at 109 decibels and allows voice to project up to 50 people. Many university faculty members from all over the nation expressed interest in the RescueMAN and envisioned plenty of their own applications including campus security/emergency situations, tour guides, lecture halls, and athletic departments.
Anchor also debuted their new ProLink 500 digital wireless intercom system which was developed for broadcast industry professionals, stage directors, sports coaches, and other AV professionals requiring an easy and affordable solution to their communication needs. The easy-to-use system has full duplex communication between four users simultaneously with the option of an unlimited number of listen only belt packs. The transmitter and receiver operate utilizing the FCC license free 902 - 928 MHz range for the U.S. without the need for a base station. Anchor anticipates significant sales for their new RescueMAN and ProLink 500 based off the customer reactions and positive reviews at the show.
