Amos Jones Joins Faculty Of Campbell Law School
Professor With J.D. From Harvard Law School Hired By Raleigh, N.C. Law School.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) January 16, 2012 - The Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law (http://law.campbell.edu) has announced that Amos N. Jones, professor of law teaching in the areas of contracts, constitutional law, and racial relations, has joined the Campbell Law faculty. Jones has taught constitutional law and has more than three years practicing international trade and litigation with a major firm in Washington, D.C. Jones previously was a journalist with McClatchy newspapers and played viola professionally with the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra.
A native of Lexington, Ky., Jones earned his undergraduate degree cum laude in political science from Emory University, where he was a National Merit Scholar, a Woodruff Scholar, a Truman Scholar, and a member of USA Today's 2000 All-USA College Academic First Team. He earned a master of science from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a juris doctorate from Harvard Law School, where he was executive editor of two journals and was awarded a Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarship, on which he studied in Australia.
