Amish Door Village hosts evening of The Crist Family gospel music
The seven-member Southern Gospel group to perform in Ohio's Amish Country.
- Canton-Massillon, OH (1888PressRelease) April 22, 2011 - Wilmot, Ohio: The Crist Family, who began as a part-time ministry in 1987, have become one of the fastest rising family groups in gospel music today. The septet will sing everything from traditional Southern Gospel to more progressive songs when they perform at Amish Door Village on May 5.
A Crist Family concert features portions sung as duets, trios, quartets and as a full ensemble in four-, five-, and six-part harmonies. High energy, clever staging and moving testimonials make for a memorable evening.
"We sing songs that glorify God and lift the spirit of everyone in the room," says singer Tami Crist Starkel. "Since 2004, we've reached 28 states and Canada, and performed at most major events in gospel music."
Along with the entertainment, the Amish Door Restaurant provides a lavish home-cooked meal, including a fresh garden salad and their famous Amish Door pie.
