New York, NY (1888PressRelease) April 15, 2011 - American Security Systems founded in1980, has continued to grow, becoming one of New York's largest independent security solutions providers. We have grown our staff by several key people recently, and would like to introduce you to them.

Roger Murray has joined the American Security Systems management team as Director of Operations. Roger joins us after spending the last 9 years as Executive Vice President of a Legal Services firm. Rogers career experience includes over 18 years in the Alarm Service industry, primarily with Wells Fargo Alarms as Regional Operations Manager. In addition Roger has served time with ADT as an Installation Manager as well as Mosler Inc. as Regional Project Manager.

We are pleased to welcome Tony Guarino to our American Security Systems team as a Senior Security Consultant. Tony comes highly recommend, with 25 year s experience in sales, project management, and as director of operations. At ESCC, Nexus Technologies and Simplex of New York City he has worked on such projects as Greystone Psychiatric Park Security, multiple MTA, Metro North and LIRR projects, the New York Hilton, Madison Square Garden, and Radio City Music Hall. He is licensed in the states of New York and New Jersey for Security and Fire Alarm Systems and is certified in Simplex Model 4002 to 4120 Multiplex Fire Alarm Systems and in DSX Cards Access Systems.

American Security Systems is pleased to welcome Jed Given to our Sales Team. Jed brings with him 8 years of previous success at American, where he began his career, as well as additional 6 years working in the integrator side of our industry. "American Security has gotten even better over the years while I was away. I'm coming back with a broader knowledge of the industry and more technical knowledge as well. I'm looking forward to presenting great products like our effective Videofied Security System, and our innovative Video Doorman." Jed is also co-founder of Smart Transition Group, Inc., a New York City based business networking group consisting of sales professionals and company owners in 40 different non competitive categories.

Terry Baker joins American Security Systems Inc. as Service Dispatch Manager to direct the service department with over twenty years of experience in the security industry. He worked previously at ADT, Smart Interactive Systems, Holmes Protection and Iverify. Terry's experience includes Corporate Trainer, Client Relationship Specialist, Central Station Manager, and Dispatch Manager. He has experience training customers on Shrink, Robbery Prevention, DVR and Security Systems and has handled quality control issues with respect to DVR programming and Alarm panels. He has Loss Prevention Qualified Certification.

We welcome Trudi Schlosberg who has joined our staff as Office Manager. Trudi comes to us with five years' experience in the security business, both residential and commercial customers. Trudi holds a Masters Degree in communication.
