American Hospital Dubai appoints second Consultant Dermatologist as skin complaints continue to rise
The American Hospital Dubai has announced the appointment of Dr. Roula Amer as a Consultant Dermatologist.
- (1888PressRelease) February 02, 2012 - Dr Amer, who is German Board Certified in Dermatology (2006) will join the team in the hospital's dermatology department, which is growing in response to a rise in the demand for skin treatments. Dr Amer undertook her basic training in Syria before moving to Germany; she is a German citizen and speaks fluent Arabic.
Prior to joining the American Hospital Dubai, Dr Amer was based in Germany as a Consultant Dermatologist at a Medical Care Center in Frankfurt. She completed her basic medical training and her Masters in Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Damascus, Syria, and then moved to Germany and did there the specialist training (FACHARZT) at the University of Frankfurt .
In addition to her German Board Certification, Dr Amer is also Certified in Botulinum Toxin and Filler Therapy, Laser medicine, and Skin Cancer Screening, and is a member of the German Society for Botoxtherapy DGBT and Fellow of the German Association for Dermatologists BVDD .
