American Heroes Golf Classic Raises Over $20,000 for Military Heroes

(1888PressRelease) September 07, 2013 - Sempris, LLC is proud to announce that it was among the sponsors who helped the Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation raise over $20,000 at its annual American Heroes Golf Classic on Aug 9.

This year at the event, a check for $50,000 was presented to the Fisher House Program, which provides temporary housing for the families of the wounded on the grounds of military and Veterans Affairs hospitals while loved ones are receiving treatment. A check for $25,000 was also presented to wounded Minneapolis native Mark Litynski, a former U.S. Marine Corporal for the building of a local "smart home."

This is the first year that Sempris became involved as a sponsor with the American Heroes Golf Classic.

"We were honored to make a contribution to this event, celebrating the life of Bryan McDonough and his service to our country," said George S. Richards, chairman, president, and CEO of Sempris, LLC.

The date for next year's event has been set for Friday, Aug. 8, 2014. Registration for the event will start beginning in May 2014 at www.AmericanHeroesGolf.com.

The Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation is an all volunteer nonprofit 5013(c)(3) organization supporting Minnesota service personnel returning from deployments throughout the world. All donations go to those who provide support to these heroes.
