American Automata Unveils Gallery Collection For 2011
American Automata, the mechanical art studio, has presented its line-up of projects for 2011. The works are part of a gallery collection that will be shown in the spring of 2012.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) October 02, 2010 - This series of new works is a whimsical portrayal of man's relationship with machines. Presented in the form of 2-D renderings, the illustrations establish the design style and set the stage for the construction phase. Since the renderings are not plans but artistic representations of the mechanical works, the actual 3-D constructions will appear differently as structural support is added. For commission projects, clients are presented with the 2-D renderings for their approval, and also receive a framed and signed print as part of the commission.
All of the pieces will be fully documented with descriptions of the construction process accompanied by still photos and video. There are regular website postings of the construction work in progress, along with a final video unveiling. The renderings can be viewed on the American Automata website at americanautomata.net
